Being honest， I skimmed this after a point。 I wanted to know about Musk’s upbringing in S Africa， insight into what about him made him such a force to reckon with， but this book was mostly a lot of detail about specific company/career details I didn’t find interesting。 I didn’t care much about the actual business deals and figures， and this was almost all about that。 Pretty disappointing and boring， though it gave me a renewed respect for Elon。

Found this book quite boring too be honest。A few glimpses of Elon and his way of thinking/reasoning behind who he is/how he is able to achieve what he does， but the majority to me， fell flat。Without knowing him this book paints him as a true genius， entrepreneur and someone who is not afraid to take risk regardless of what’s done/said around him。Also got the vibe he can be quite ruthless and lacking of empathy toward staff。
